🎥 JMC Academy Australia : Do-it-yourself Film Production Workshop Competition

Can you make films without a big budget, expensive equipment and a big crew? We think you can. All you need is a can-do attitude, a big imagination, a phone, a computer and some WiFi – and a great teacher!  

THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY HAS BEEN ORGANISED BY JMC, AUSTRALIA

By the end of the course you will have your own film scene to add to your portfolio (and something to show your talent to all your friends and family). JMC Academy will provide a certificate and you will belong to an international network of film makers and possibly future colleagues!

🎞 HOW TO ENTER

Want to be chosen? You will need to:

VIDEO 1: Make a 10-20 second video about ANYTHING you like and upload it to social media. Make sure it’s made public and use #JMCDIYComp so we can find it!

VIDEO 2: Make a 30-60 second introduction video about YOU! Tell us about your favourite film/show, any media studies or film making you may have already done, what excites you and what scares you the most.

Fill out the application form and make sure you include a link to your videos (you can set your second video to private/unlisted)

A panel of judges will choose the lucky participants. We can’t wait to see your entries!

IMPORTANT DATES

Apply by midnight (AEST) on 10 January 2022

Winners will be announced on 18 January 2022

Program commences on 12 February 2022 and will run for 6 Saturdays (last session on 19 March). Each session will run for up to 2 hours.
